Solhverv was a black metal band from Copenhagen, Denmark that was formed in 1994 and split up in 1997.
Their line up featured Martin F. Jørgenssen (Bass, Vocals, Keyboards),
Eric E. Marcussen (Drums) and Thomas F. Jørgenssen (Guitars, Vocals).
The band from 1990 to 1994 was known as Fallen Angel and played a mix of death metal with grindcore.
Through that period they released two demos.
In 1994 they changed, for a short period, their name to Helheim before going into Solhverv.
In 1995 their demo cd "Gravlandets Vogtere" was released and in 1996 their first full length album "Tågernes årtusinde
was issued through Euphonious Records.
A split with Nidhug called "Akustiske Ekko Af Fortiden" was also planned for 1997 but this was never happened.
After their disbanding two compilations were released with unreleased/rehearsal material.
