 Black metal project from the city of Tauranga in New Zealand that was active in the late 90s.
From The Dark draw inspiration from the raw and atmospheric black metal movements of the 90s

with themes deeply rooted in arcane occultism and Eastern esoteric matter.
In 1997 they released the demo "In The Last Days Of The Sun" and in 1998 the CD album "In The Shadow Of Kaos".

The band seems to be somehow "active" again with the 2025 reissue on CD of their demo 

while their future plans include the release of their second unreleased 1999 full length album,

entitled "In The Night Of Pan", on the Australian Charnel Sanctum label.
