Impressions Of Winter are a German darkwave/neo-classical band
that began in 1994 as the project of Joe P. (Joachim Proell).
Because of his high demands on his compositions,
friends of his began to realize that his music was far too good not to include vocals.
So the initial line-up was completed by Andres Waldura and the group's first female singer, Laikha.

offered to produce their first album, "Cantica Lunae - Songs Of The Moon",
which was released in the spring of 1997 and received positive notice.
After this release singer Laikha was replaced by Felicia S., and in the summer of 1998 a second CD

"Deceptive Springs And Fading Landscapes" was released, followed by "Iuturna" in 2000.
Later in 2001 with their CD release "The RemiXperience" the band takes a slightly different retrospect on their work,
