13 Candles was born in 1992.
Their debut album "Come Out Of The Dark" was released via Nightbreed Recordings in late 1995
and it was while gigging in support of the album as special guests to Cradle Of Filth on their "Dusk And Her Embrace" tour, that they were asked to sign with Cacophonous Records.
The result of this union was the album "Angels Of Mourning Silence" that was released in 1997.
After a brief UK tour however, the band parted company with vocalist Louis Holloway and took a short break to regroup.
They returned in 1998 with new vocalist Danny J. Finch and drummer Paul Mackey.
Soon after, they entered Academy Studios to create the album "Killing For Culture".
Upon its official release on Def2Music in 2003, "Killing For Culture" showcased a heavier direction for the band
with hard rock metallic riffs and industrial strength rhythms joining forces
alongside the established gothic elements that were long associated with the band.
Since then 13 Candles has been playing their own headline shows and making festival appearances nationwide.
